The show starts with trivia about things that happened in music in the first week of March in different years in the 90s. I also talk about the riot grrrl movement, women in 90s pop, Metallica and Megadeth’s biggest albums, and a few 90s supergroups.
This is a sneak peek of “The 90s Nooner with Big Al” on A2Z Radio. The show will officially launch on Friday, March 6th at 12:00PM Eastern. You’ll hear rock, metal, grunge, and pop music from the 90s. I’ll also be enlightening you with random music, movie, TV, and pop culture trivia.
Big Al and The Maniac filled in on this New Year’s Eve edition of Rockin’ Rob’s Classic Cafe. This special episode is a blend of The Maniac’s 80s Rewind and Big Al’s Rockin’ Radio Show that was recorded live in Big Al’s Rockin’ Studio. In an episode Al called “Bands Known for One Big Hit” it’s essentially a “One Hit Wonders” show. You’d be surprised how difficult it was for each of us to ONLY pick 15 songs. Enjoy!
This edition of Big Al’s Rockin’ Radio Show is all things Ace Frehley. You’ll hear song that Ace wrote, songs he sang, and songs he covered. I’d like to thank Aaron Camaro and Chris Czynszak from the Decibel Geek podcast, Julian Gill from the KISSfaq podcast, Matt Porter from the KISS room, and Steve Bryant who I met because of KISS during the Psycho Circus era, for their contributions to this tribute episode. I’d like to thank you for taking the time to listen. While we mourn the loss of Ace Frehley, we also celebrate him. Fly high Ace and take that Rocket Ride back to Jendell.
Here’s volume three of my monthly installment of “Every Band’s A Cover Band” series on A2Z Radio. This episode was originally broadcast on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
